ZipMeeting: This online application service provider web site provides a quick, efficient way for people to arrange meetings among large groups of attendees. The system consists of a marketing web site with application demo, 30-day trial signup and payment processing via PayPal. The application features password-protected user accounts, a back-end administration interface for the site owners, and an automatic e-mail distribution system with embedded links to voting/survey features. Blacks Design Application Development: Purchasing Support System for large university medical school.

 

Purchasing Support System (Intranet system). This Intranet system coordinates purchases made by the faculty and staff of a large university medical school. Purchases from several hundred faculty and staff are tracked by central purchasing agents, from initial request through delivery. System manages purchasing workflow, including request submission, request approval, order modification/cancellation, receipt/return of goods, reconcile of credit card statements, posting of journal entries and historical reporting. Automatic e-mails are used for reminders and status reporting. Users consist of requesters, account signers, purchasing support specialists and system administrators. Each purchase request tracks vendor and item details as well as a chronology of comments, status changes, and attached documents. Extensive administrative interface for editing, importing and exporting Chart of Accounts (16,000+ records), employee, department and other data tables.
