Actually, they are so used to humans, they never even looked up as we approached. And YES, they wear BELLS! We figure each bell probably costs the Swiss taxpayer $50 francs - but hey, what would Switzerland be without the tinkling of cow- and sheep-bells on the hillsides? It is truly a joyous sound.
