...and, if my perspective is correct, the cottage on the far left is the one I now own, which was originally owned by the mayor of Westerville, Ohio.

The Wooden Boat

...and one of those wonderful handmade wooden boat that were so stable and great for fishing. Most were painted dark green, as I remember. Fred had a 'fleet' of them when I was a child.

Wanda Martin

Wanda Martin was the only other Wanda I knew as I was growing up. She was my uncle, Roy Phillips', next door neighbor at the lake. I remember her as a warm and fun person.

-Wanda (Hoover) Taylor, now owning the cottage 3 lots west of the Martin/Black cottage.

My name is Butch Hetherton my family owned a cabin on the lake from 1958 thru 1979. My first trip there was june 1953. the year I was born and continued until 1972 when I moved to Florida. I remember Marc and his sister machel. and all of the Knight brothers. We lived in New York state. I spent my teen summers at the lake with marc and his sister.
